By way of kicking-off the new update cycle, please find below our first update notification.

Being our first patch notice we've started with notable changes from version 3.1 (most customers) to 3.1.3.


  • Image library web part with lightbox page overlay popup.
  • Custom list view web part now has 'expiry' field selector.
  • Custom list view no longer strips a, p and br tags when cleaning HTML formatting.


  • Important: Detect user location (e.g. school) correctly. Locations not previously detected for all users. Affects portal personalised navigation.
  • Important: Students given incorrect permissions on class sites in specific situations.
  • Important: My' aggregation web parts blank in specific scenarios (invalid AD user or groups present in a class or group site)
  • Summary, archive and item web parts (custom list view) - title casing of add, managed and edit links made more consistent.
  • Various paragraph spacing fixes (some clients).
  • Various heading size fixes (some clients).
  • Updated "All Day" styling on calendar summary web part (some clients).
  • Email newsletter not linking to home page of some sites (affects body and unsubscribe links).
  • Additional diagnostic logging and exception handling (you can never have enough).

  • My Announcements web part enhancements - extended to include special and regular announcements from the district, school, departments (as well as classes and groups). Easy filtering by announcement source.
  • Form Web Part - Allow website visitors to submit content on your website (contact, feedback, registration, job application forms etc.)
  • Staff Directory - list staff information on your website or portal (populated from Active Directory)
  • Sync feature enhancements - support for subsite destinations and host named websites
