The August 2016 update (4.16.1) will be deployed on Tuesday, 30th of August. During the update your sites will be unavailable for a few minutes at 5:00 pm local time.

This release resolves a number of issues that have been reported since the 4.16 update.

  • Enhanced - Corrupt AD Group entries in Active Directory and invalid non-claims SharePoint accounts are now gracefully ignored.
  • Enhanced - Server side error messages for Home Drive are now reinterpreted client side as they can be hijacked by the local gateway.
  • Enhanced - Various notification events have been reworded for clarity.
  • Enhanced - Role-based top navigation can now optionally open links in a new window.
  • Fix - issue where site manager fails if a selected SIS class no longer exists.
  • Fix - Special announcement notification icons now reflect the announcement type.
  • Fix - Resolved issue where a notification is not sent when a student starts working on an untitled assignment.
  • Fix - Resolved issue where the jQuery library was not using the CDN on public web sites.
  • Fix - Resolved issue in assignments and portfolio where commands with SharePoint JS dependencies may not execute if the dependencies have not already been triggered.
  • Fix - Resolved issue where portfolio, blog, and assignment apps may fail when authentication expires.
