Create or Repair an App List
Some Scholantis apps (such as the Calendar, Announcements Summary or Documents) use a list to manage your content. You can create a new list or repair a broken one, by editing the app.
Create a New List
To create a new list:
- On the page that has the app, click the EDIT button (in the Utility Links) to enter page editing mode.
When you select an app an option (...) displays. - Click the ellipsis (...) and select Edit App from the drop-down menu.
- The Data Source section of the Edit App menu provides access to the settings for the list:
- Enter a name for the new list in the Create new list field.
- Click the Create button.
- Click the OK button to finish creating the list.
- Click the PUBLISH tab and then the Publish button to publish the page.
- Enter any comments in the Comments field and click the Continue button to complete the publish.
- You can then populate your new list by adding new items on the page.
Repair an App List
Sometimes, a Page not found error displays when a list item (Such as an Announcement) is accidentally deleted or a list gets broken. You can easily fix this by repairing the app list.
- On the page that has the broken app list, click the EDIT button (in the Utility Links) to enter page editing mode.
- When you select an app an option (...) displays.
- Click the ellipsis (...) and select Edit App from the drop-down menu.
- The Data Source section of the Edit App menu provides access to the settings for the list:
Click the Repair List Feature button to repair the list. When the repair is complete, a "Repair complete" message displays:
- Click the OK button to leave the Edit App menu.
- Click the PUBLISH tab and then the Publish button to publish the page.
